KAHSA Bell Leadership Award For Excellence in Health Care
The KAHSA Bell Leadership Award honors individuals with attributes akin to its namesake, Deborah C. Bell. Ms. Bell's endeavors, driven by a fierce determination to make a difference, resulted in her ultimate goal, raising the standard of medical care and service to the elderly. The KAHSA Bell Award epitomizes what is and will be the best within our profession. The 2010 recipient of this award was Wesley Village's CEO, Glenda Creech.
Criteria: This award is given to an individual who possess attributes related to dynamic and seasoned leadership, distinguished service in long term care, integrity and character, passion for the elderly, enthusiasm to inspire excellence in others, superior intellect and decision making skills and significant contribution to the long term care profession.
