Dr. Howard Olds addresses crowd of over 470 who gathered on October 5th, at Lexington's Embassy Suites to honor the lives and accomplishments of three very special Heroes, Saints and Legends "whose vigorous and inspiring lives continue to enrich our church and our world."

HSL award recipient, Dr. Paul Maddox, recounts touching and humorous stories derived from over 50 years as a physician and community leader in Campton and the mountains of Wolfe County.

HSL award recipient, Dr. Rhoda Peters, with Wesley Village Board Chair, Jim Stratton. Recently retired from the position of Conference Provost, Rhoda has given a lifetime of service to others throughout Kentucky Methodism.

The evening concluded with a special presentation entitled "Miracle of Coming Together" highlighting the Village's soon-to-be-built senior community center, with a surprise announcement at the end: Coach Smith along with his wife, Donna, have agreed to be honorary chairs for Wesley Village's next capital campaign project, a new Center for Excellence in Memory Care!
